“Oak Off cut through the jargon and their coaching made all the difference…”
“As an attorney in New York I needed to be ready to assist my clients with the new matters that would arise after legalization. I was referred to Oak Off by another attorney but didn’t know what to expect given that I have no experience with cannabis. Oak Off cut through the jargon and their coaching made all the difference in preparing me for this new area of practice. My cannabis law practice is thriving and I could not be happier with my decision to hire Oak Off.”

Project Background
S.B. is a corporate, contract and employment attorney practicing in New York. He knew that the consequences of legalized cannabis in New York would reverberate throughout the communities he serves and wanted to ensure that he was prepared to meet his clients’ evolving needs.
When he was referred to OOG he wasn’t sure what he wanted or expected from us, just that he wanted to “learn more abut weed”. After completing our business coaching course, he has a firm grasp on cannabis culture and language, and can integrate that understanding with his existing practice.
The result is he can engage with potential clients throughout the entire ecosystem of cannabis and its ancillary industries.
He made a smart decision
Why is this so confusing?
-
If, like many folks, you are new to cannabis it can get really confusing. What’s a “mom”?
What are bigs vs. smalls? What the heck is IPM and do I have one?
-
Our cannabis coaching program is a welcoming and accessible training module, taught a conversational tone and guaranteed to make you a fluent “cannalinguist”.
We Know You’re Smart.
-
We know you’re smart. You know you’re smart. But it’s not about being smart, it’s about having the experience.
-
We might be dumb and we might be ugly but we have a ton of experience. Let our experience ensure that you get it right the first time.
Justice and Equity Applicants

A large portion of the NY electorate supports recreational cannabis, and further supports a robust Social Equity Application process as a way to right historic social and economic injustice
