Not all cannabis operations are run by investor-backed, cash infused businesses.
In fact, there is still a solid demand for “craft weed”, ie high quality weed grown on small farms, ideally using regenerative farming practices.
For these farmers, growing is the easy part. It’s the application stage, where a significant capital investment is required with no guarantee of winning a license, that is the most perilous.
Our job is twofold: make sure their capital is being used in the most productive way possible, and guarantee that they submit the best possible application.
We know it’s tempting to hire a bunch of lawyers who charge $600 per hour and have zero experience with cannabis licensing but fight the impulse!
